The Journal of Business is reporting that Spokane-Spokane Valley jobs are expected to be at prerecession levels by this summer, a full year ahead of schedule. The prerececcion peak in nonfarm jobs was 2008, and we are now just 2% short of that 235,700 number at 234,200. The good news is most of that recovery happened in the last 12 months, with higher-wage industries leading the way.
